Adult Nursing Services
Adult Nursing Services (ANS) provides nursing services in Family Living and in additional community settings. ANS provides a range of nursing services for those individuals based on their acuity and needs. The nurse completes and scores a parameter tool which evaluates intensity of needed services in multiple aspects.
Follow the instructions and submit the needed documents to the Case Manager for Outside Review process or submission to the Third-Party Administrator. After the review process an ANS budget is authorized. Although the total number of hours is based on an analysis of needs, billing is based on the overall provision of services which are supported by time in/time out documentation. Work with your agency billing department for details.
